1. Monthly subscriptions
- You may cancel renewal at any time so the plan does not renew for the next billing period.
- Access generally continues until the end of the period already paid.
- We do not pro-rate refunds for unused days in a paid month, except where required by law or where we choose to as a goodwill gesture.
2. Annual prepay (if offered)
If you pay annually, cancellation stops the next annual renewal. Refunds of unused annual time are not automatic; contact us within 14 days of first annual charge if you believe you were billed in error or the service was not provisioned.
3. White-glove and once-off services
- Once work has started (scheduling install, embedding, or handoff call), once-off fees are generally non-refundable.
- If we have not started and you cancel within 48 hours of payment, contact us for a full refund of that once-off fee.
4. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we may retry and may suspend the assistant after a short grace period. Update your payment method promptly to avoid interruption.
5. How to cancel or request a refund
Email hello@getknown.ai from your account email with:
- Business name
- Plan name
- Approximate payment date / Paystack reference if you have it
- What you are asking for (cancel renewal vs refund)
We aim to respond within 2 business days (SAST, Mon–Fri).
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us before opening a chargeback so we can fix billing issues quickly. Unresolved abuse of chargebacks may result in account termination.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date will change when we do.
